Malazinc™ is an expert in targeting ear fungus and bacteria, helping to maintain a healthy ear canal. Malazinc™ is suitable for Dogs, Cats and Rabbits.

Malazinc™ delivers a unique micronutrient blend of topical, safe ingredients that targets fungus, bacteria and odour. It has been designed and formulated for use in the ear and can be used to maintain a normal ear canal environment.

The solution breaks down the fungus and bacteria, utilising Boric acid, Taurine, L-lysine and Zinc which prevents bacteria and yeast from thriving, whilst assisting the body in providing the healthy building blocks for returning to normal condition. Micronutrients are suspended and delivered at a pH of 4.5, creating a prohibitive environment for the fungus and bacteria to develop.

Presented in an easy-to-use 120ml squeezable dropper bottle that helps to dispense accurate amounts directly to the inner and middle ear surface or ear canal. Its viscosity is such that the animals natural head movement will distribute the solution uniformly to all surfaces following a gentle massage of the ear canal after application. Excess fluid can be removed using absorbent swabs or cotton balls.

Should be stored at room temperature and has a shelf life of 4 years from Date Of Manufacture.

"I have used MalaZinc ear drops for many patients, mostly for dogs but on cats as well. I have had great success in using it for both otitis externa and media ( middle ear) assessed using the PSPP system ( Primary, Secondary, Predisposing and Perpetuating causes) with allergy as the primary cause and Malassezia as the secondary cause. The product can be sold over the counter and I can add steroids and / or antibiotics to the bottle if required.

I do not have to clean the ears prior to use. Having used the product for some time, I see results often by the next visit and certainly within 2 to 4 weeks of use. I also use it frequently for patients that have experienced a recurrence of signs, successfully. Initial treatment is once to twice daily, reducing down, perhaps to as little as weekly, to maintain and prevent recurrence of signs. I would definitely use this product again and would recommend it to all veterinarians."
