Description:

For accurate control and delivery of a measured amount of fluid to your patient. Ideal for use on patients requiring a smaller amount of fluid drawn from the bag or bottle, for mixed medication or combination fluid therapy.

Prevents hypervolemia as your patient can only receive as much fluid or medication as you fill in the burette chamber.

Features:

Sharp vented piercing spike – Easy penetration and simple piercing of suspended fluid containers.
Flip covered bacterial air vent on spike – Permits use on both collapsible and non-collapsible containers (only open vent when using non-collapsible fluid containers).
V-bed roller clamp – Offers precise and dependable flow control during infusion.
Parking slot on roller clamp (distal tube) – Holds tubing prior to connecting to the patient, removes the risk of contaminating distal end while accessories are connected.
Clearly marked Burette Chamber with 1ml graduations – For accurate reading.
Latex injection port – Allows for supplementary medication to be administered directly into the burette chamber.

Blue capped air priming filter vent on the top of burette chamber – Open to prime chamber and close as soon as priming level is achieved.
Automatic red shut-off float disc – Helps prevent air embolisms. Also allows for accurate visual readings of fluid volumes within the burette chamber.
Attached to the distal end of the 150ml chamber is a 60 drops/ml Needle-Free paediatric / microbore IV set with anti-kink tubing.
15 micron particle filter within the drip chamber – Prevents foreign bodies or crystallised fluids from passing into the fluid line.
Distal V-bed roller clamp – Offers precise and dependable flow control during infusion.
Parking slot on roller clamp (distal tube) – Holds tubing prior to connecting to the patient, removes the risk of contaminating distal end while accessories are connected.
Blue C-Clamp – For quick ‘on/off’ fluid release.
Distal Y-Style needle-free injection port – Allows for supplementary medication to be administered directly into the IV Set.
Distal: Luer Lock connector with loose spin lock attachment. – Allows to move proximally if not required. - Secures additional equipment such as Aniset™ T-Connector or Anicath™ cannulae to the line.
Fluid priming cap – Allows the set to be primed expelling all the air bubbles without losing any fluid – Keeps the treatment area and patient clean and dry.
